The DeLonghi La Specialista is a unique and technology-packed approach to semi-automatic espresso machines. You can still grind the beans yourself and tamp them in the portafilter, but the grinding time is precisely controlled by the software and the tamping is done by simply pulling down a lever on the side until it stops, achieving perfect results every time. When you make adjustments to the grinding consistency, sensors automatically adjust the length of time it grinds to ensure you still get the same dose without needing to recalibrate anything. A built-in brew pressure gauge lets you know if you have found the ideal settings for a perfect shot. Want to learn to make latte art? The frothing wand has a selector valve to switch between steamed milk and foam so you can achieve the milk texture you want. This machine even makes true americanos with a single button press by switching flow from the portafilter to the dedicated water spout during brewing. There are preset recipes for espresso, americano, and long coffee, and all of these can also be customized to just the way you want them. To top off all of these impressive features, the La Specialista is finished in stainless steel with a piano black control panel.

DeLonghi warrants all Certified Refurbished espresso machines to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 6-months after purchase. As an authorized DeLonghi service center, Espresso Resource NW can provide all needed warranty services at our Vancouver shop.

What’s in the Box:

All factory refurbished DeLonghi La Specialista machines include the components required for operation (main unit, bean hopper and lid, drip tray assembly, portafilter with single and double filter baskets, water reservoir, power cord), as well as a starter supply of descaling liquid, cleaning brush, user manual, and water hardness test strip. These refurbished machines DO NOT include the optional water softening filter or milk pitcher. These optional accessories are available from several online and local retailers.
