With front-loading drip tray, used grounds bin, and water tank, ease-of-use was clearly a top design consideration. Behind the water tank is a service door that gives access to the patented brew group, which can be removed for cleaning by simply squeezing two release buttons. Weekly maintenance is as simple as rinsing off a few parts, and can be completed in less than 5 minutes.

The ECAM23120SB is one of the very few super-automatic models sporting a “Long” coffee setting. This function is designed to mimic a drip coffee maker by operating the pump at reduced pressure and grinding twice per cycle, giving you a freshly brewed cup of “drip” coffee in significantly less time than it would take the old-fashioned way, and with less waste. This is sure to be a favorite among household members who prefer their “Mr. Coffee.”
