This DeLonghi Magnifica seal kit includes replacement high pressure line seals, generator coupling seals, and piston gaskets. The included seals are applicable to DeLonghi Magnifica model numbers beginning with “ESAM” and which use a manual steam wand. Seals will come with a light coat of food grade lubricant already applied and ready to install. Make sure to install the seals on the ends of the tubes before installing, and remove the old seals and clean all sealing surfaces for best results. For servicing the infuser, you should have a tube of Petrol-Gel food-grade grease on hand for lubricating the inner wall of the piston bore (essential for smooth and quiet operation). This lubricant is available in 4 ounce tubes from several online merchants and may be available from your local home brewery supply store. If after installing the seal kit in your DeLonghi Magnifica you still have leaks, there may be a cracked valve, fitting, or boiler. Any part still leaking with new seals should have the complete part replaced.
